I work with a carefully selected, local professional printer skilled in fine art printing so that all my prints are Giclee (pronounced 'Zhee-Clay') quality prints.

Giclee printing is a type of inkjet printing – but importantly, not all inkjet prints are giclee prints. Giclee printing is meant to produce a product at a higher quality and with a longer lifespan than a standard desktop inkjet printer.

The most significant contrast between a standard inkjet print and a giclee print is that giclees are printed using pigment-based inks rather than the dye-based inks found in lower-cost inkjets.

Pigment-based inks have a longer lifespan and can last anywhere from 100 to 200 years without significant fading. The type of printer used to create giclee prints is usually a larger format model that specifically uses pigment-based inks and will hold around eight to 12 different color ink cartridges. The more inks used, the more sophisticated the color range available on final output.

I work with well known and trusted experts in the framing industry who believe that a frame is an extension of the artwork in its own right. Our frames are hand-made by true artisans, expressing the same dedication and craftsmanship as was used in creating the original image. We use the artwork as our inspiration and add to the magic of the final, framed masterpiece.

Custom frame options are available in solid wood and each framed artwork ships ready to hang––right out of the box. Choose from black, white, or natural wood frames in a classic "box" style.

All frames come with a high-quality UV protected plexiglass, which eliminates reflections and protects your images from UV damage.

All Limited Edition prints have a white border to provide enough space for the signature, numbered edition, hologram (with a serialized number) and to facilitate the matting and framing for these sizes of prints. Once the print is matted, only half an inch of the white border will show around the image, with the signature and number of the edition in the bottom. The measurement of the white borders is slightly different (2.5" to 3") depending on the print size and this doesn't show once the print is mounted.

See below the available image sizes and their corresponding paper sizes including the white border:

12x18"      Image     →    18x24"      Paper (3" white border around)

20x30"      Image     →    26x36"      Paper (3" white border around)

25x37.5"   Image     →    31x44"   Paper (3/3.25" white border around)

Open Edition prints are smaller in size and are not signed/numbered, so they have a smaller 1-inch border around them. This border is very helpful when mounting/framing the print.

NOTE: Open Edition prints are printed to the same standards as Limited Edition prints, but there is no limit to the number of prints produced. They are offered in small sizes ( 6x9in and 10x15in).
